To establish the Human Resources Manual, Guidelines and Policies while, working professionally, in full co-operation, harmony, discipline, efficiently, competently, conscientiously, honestly and reliably to carry out the functions of the Human Resources Department and also to provide guidance and training towards staff advancement and excellence whilst ensuring strict confidentiality in all personnel matters.
Ensure job cards, payroll, and all relevant records for Menta Construction Sdn Bhd (MCSB) and related companies including the paying of taxes, employee\xe2\x80\x99s provident fund and statutory insurance together with all the periodic statutory reports are undertaken completed and filed properly.
Identify and implement all legal and government requirements affecting human resources.
TRAINING AND SKILL DEVELOPMENT
Plan and conduct new employee orientation to foster positive attitude, ensuring development and improvement of employees\xe2\x80\x99 work skill through providing training sessions relevant to the organizational and functional needs.
Ensure all personnel receive basic instruction in the Companies policies, procedures and practices to ensure they are familiar with the Companies\xe2\x80\x99 operation incorporating training programs relating to the Companies\xe2\x80\x99 Quality Management System.
Identify staff training needs, propose annual training plan and budget and conduct post training assessment to ensure effective transfer of knowledge is achieved.
Ensuring all relevant staff is in possession of valid green cards and to promptly organize the necessary training for those in need of green cards.
RECRUITMENT AND SELECTION
Establish a proper personnel recruitment system incorporating from reviewing the needs of the company, advertising, arranging the interviews, testing and selecting the right candidates and issuing the appointment letters to the successful candidates and thereafter maintain an up to date data of every employee.
Handle all matters pertaining to foreign workers including the issuance of I-cards, whilst complying with all legal and statutory regulations and requirements. This includes the safe custody of the passports.
Compensation and benefits
Maintain a proper leave (annual, medical, emergency and unrecorded) record of all the staff including the medical expenses incurred.
Ensure all staff are insured as per the practice of the company.
Employee Relations
Handling all disciplinary matters, conduct domestic inquiries and if necessary termination of staff as per the labour practice in the country.
Performance Management
To draw up and update the job description of every designated portfolio and department within the Company.
Establish and administer an effective performance appraisal system to ensure staff performance is effectively captured for the benefit of the company and the staff concerned.
