We are looking for a Human Resources Manager to lead the overall operation of the Human Resources and Development functions within the Distribution Center. You will be the strategic and tactical business partner to the Distribution Center Leadership Team. This includes responsibility for Employee and Labour relations, Training & Development, Budgets, Salary Administration, Legal and Company Labour Compliance, Staffing, Organizational Design, Performance & Talent Management and Internal Communication among the more relevant. A day in the life of... Define & Execute HR Strategy for the distribution center: Develop and deliver the overall HR strategy and tactical plans in support of distribution center's short, medium and long term plans. Coordinate and execute workforce planning for the distribution center. Organizational Design & Development: To support the creation of organizational structures to drive improved distribution center performance as well as working with line managers to define team and organizational development needs and solutions to them. Performance & Talent Management: Coordinate and organize performance and development review processes ensuring proper objective setting, performance calibration and evaluation. Coordinate distribution center's career and succession planning incl. personal development planning to meet business short, medium and long term needs. Ensure people managers are equipped with the necessary tools, skills and competence to manage and improve the performance in their teams. Employee Engagement: Establish and maintain effective win-win working relationships with managers, employees and their representatives through an environment that fosters communication and co-operation. Promote and foster a culture and environment that is productive, open, empowering, safe and equitable and coach others to behave and make decisions in line with Nestl 's principles. HR Organizational Alignment: Be the gateway for the business into the HR function to ensure Line Managers and Employees understand the HR model and can quickly and efficiently access solutions. Collaborate and provide business insight to CoE and CoS to ensure initiatives and projects are designed and implemented that support business people plans. Drive continuous improvement initiatives in HR Internal Communication: Develop and execute internal communication actions to constantly share information about the business, HR programs and offerings, and other relevant information to the employees. What will make you successful Experience in HR in a manufacturing/distribution center environment with union and safety exposure Experience in performance management, people development, coaching and training Experience in generalist HR activities - recruitment, discipline, grievance, attendance management Experience in managing talent processes and succession planning Depth knowledge of applicable local legislation related to employment law Experience leading and managing change in organizations Demonstrated track record of success in implementation HR practices in the areas of recruitment, performance management, employee relations, training, etc We are Nestl , the largest food and beverage company.
