Job Description


The International Medical University is Malaysia\xe2\x80\x99s first and most established private medical and health sciences university, with over 30 years of dedicated focus in healthcare education. We are currently seeking a Human Resource Business Partner to join our team. This role will be reporting to the Senior Manager, Human Resources. Principal Accountabilities: The role will support the Schools/Departments to align HR initiatives and functions with business objectives and needs. Duties for the HR Business Partner will include recruiting the right talent, employee onboarding/offboarding, coordinating performance management exercises, supporting staff development and promotion, executing strategic HR initiatives, which include succession plans, staff engagement, resolving staff grievances, ensuring compliance with policies & regulations, updating policies and practices, retaining a talented workforce, and overseeing wellness and health initiatives. Requirements:

  • A relevant degree with a minimum of eight years of HR experience.
  • Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including recruitment, compensation practices, organizational development, employee engagement, diversity, performance management, and respective employment laws.
  • Good communication (both written & spoken English), EQ and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong business acumen, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
