Implement, and update HR policies, SOPs, and employee handbooks.
Ensure HR practices/changes are compliant with Malaysian labor law (EA 1955, EPF, SOCSO, EIS, HRDC, etc.).
Reports to GM and Owner to develop more efficient HR processes that actually benefit the teams
Recruitment & Onboarding
Manage end-to-end recruitment across all outlets (Front office, Housekeeping, F&B, HQ etc).
Develop/update job descriptions, conduct interviews, and coordinate onboarding and orientation programs.
Build talent pipelines for operational and management roles.
Performance Development
Lead the annual appraisal process based on CapsuleTransit's values and competency framework.
Identify training needs and manage HRDC claimable training programs.
Support managers in setting clear KPIs and coaching for team members.
Payroll & Benefits
Process monthly payroll, leave management, and claims via BrioHR HRMS.
Ensure accuracy of statutory contributions (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB).
Recommend pay adjustments and incentive programs based on performance and market benchmarks.
IR
Promote a positive workplace culture across all outlets.
Handle disciplinary issues, grievances, and counseling with fairness and empathy.
Plan and execute employee engagement programs, team-building, and recognition initiatives.
Compliance, Reporting and Admin
Ensure HR documentation and procedures meet audit requirements.
Support labor inspections and resolve compliance issues proactively.
Manage insurance, HRDC levy utilization, and vendor contracts related to HR.
Maintain accurate and updated employee records in HRIS.
Prepare HR reports on headcount, turnover, leave trends, and other key metrics.
To Qualify
Degree is HR Management or Business Admin.
Minimum 3 years experience at a HR Executive or Managerial level.
Extremely organized and meticulous.
Strong emotional capacity for handling conflicts and feedback.
