POSITION SUMMARY:
The Human Resources Generalist will act as a partner and ally to the Human Resources Manager by providing support to keep the MASS Precision teams running smoothly. The overall objectives are to help ensure compliance with all relevant policies and procedures, to provide assistance regarding the achievement of HR goals and deliver support to employees at Malaysia facility. This position provides expertise in the areas of employee relations, performance management, talent acquisition and management, compensations/benefits, etc. The HR Generalist will initiate and grow strategic relationships with functional/operational leaders through coaching, consultation, influence and problem solving to successfully execute organizational goals.
Responsibility:
Serving as a point of contact for HR policies, procedures, and programs.
Recruitment of staff including sourcing, screening resumes, interviewing, creating offer letters, and onboarding new staff.
On-boarding and termination coordination.
Monitoring staff for compliance of wage/hour labor laws.
Management of employee HRIS system.
Benefits coordination including periodic coordination with insurance and benefit vendors for renewals, open enrollment, etc.
Compliance with Labour Law & Industrial Relation Law (IR)
Conducts HR training with staff including Managers/Supervisors.
Adheres to all company and departmental policies and procedures.
Maintain customer and MASS Quality requirements.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Contributes to the department's team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Experienced and able to handle payroll tasks.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Strong knowledge in Labour Law & Industrial Relation Law.
Good interpersonal and communication skills; team mentality with the ability to motivate.
Proficient with MS Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Must be a dependable team player with business maturity and enthusiasm with the ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate at the appropriate level across the organization.
Ability to commit to a flexible schedule and prompt arrival to scheduled shifts.
Ability to follow verbal instructions
Ability to be cross trained in other departments to help with unexpectedly high demands.
Qualification:
Diploma in related field preferred or equivalent work experience
Minimum 2 years' experience in Manufacturing as Human Resources.
Open to fresh graduate with related studies/field.*
