1. Oversee the full HR operations, ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies.
2. Manage the recruitment and selection process to attract and retain quality talent.
3. Maintain and update HR policies, employee handbook, and standard operating procedures.
4. Oversee payroll administration, attendance and leave management.
5. Handle employee grievances, disciplinary actions and conflict resolution professionally.
6. Support management in workforce planning, succession planning, and organizational development.
7. Ensure proper documentation and maintenance of employee records and files.
Learning & Development
1. Lead workforce planning, talent management, succession planning, and organizational development initiatives.
2. Identify training needs through performance appraisals, department feedback, and business goals.
3. Develop and implement the annual training plan and training calendar.
4. Conduct training needs analysis and evaluate training effectiveness.
5. Coordinate internal and external training programs, workshops, and certifications.
6. Facilitate in-house training sessions on topics such as customer service, leadership, and soft skills.
7. Maintain training records, reports and employee development plans.
8. Monitor and ensure compliance with HRD Corp (HRDF) training grant processes.
9. Conduct orientation programmes for new employees by providing information on hotel & company standards, employee benefits, policies and procedures.
Requirements
1. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
2. Minimum 5 years of HR experience, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role within hospitality.
3. Strong knowledge of Malaysian labor laws, statutory requirements, and HR best practices.
4. Proven experience in talent management, succession planning, and employee engagement initiatives.
5. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
