KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Assess hydrology for hydro projects at initiation and concept phase studies.
• Ability the energy potential for hydropower projects and hydro plants.
• Leade the plant operational team on the dispatch plan to ensure the optimum operation of reservoir and hydro plants.
• Carry out the hydrometric field team in managing the hydrometric network and database.
• Conduct QA/QC for hydrometric data.
• Prepare projects cost estimation, schedule, risk assessment and financial analysis before proceeding with tender processes.
• Coordinate and monitor the quality of hydrological investigation work.

QUALIFICATION:

• Degree in Civil Engineering or Hydrology, Water Engineering or any equivalent related discipline.

WORK EXPERIENCE:

• Relevant experience in hydrology, climate change and sedimentation studies would be an advantage.

SKILLS:

• Problem-solving and analytical skills in hydrology.
• Good costing and budgeting skills and financial understanding.
• Good planning, leading and organizing skills.
• Able to work safely in remote areas.
• Excellent in technical writing and presentation.
