We are seeking an experienced

IAM Business Analyst

with strong exposure to

AI/ML platforms

and regulatory frameworks to join our client's team in Kuala Lumpur. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business needs and technology, ensuring robust Identity and Access Management (IAM) governance while aligning with evolving AI-driven environments.

Key Responsibilities

Act as the liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating IAM and AI requirements into actionable solutions. Perform IAM governance activities including control validation, access reviews, and compliance checks. Analyze and document

data access patterns in AI/ML environments

, ensuring secure and compliant access management. Support the implementation and integration of IAM tools (e.g., SailPoint, Entra ID, OneVault, HashiCorp Vault). Ensure adherence to

regulatory and compliance frameworks

such as GDPR, MAS, NIST, ISO 27001, and SOC2. Collaborate with stakeholders across business, security, and IT functions to align IAM processes with organizational goals. Provide expertise in authentication protocols such as

SAML, OAuth2, JWT, and OIDC

. Contribute to solution design discussions involving APIs, security controls, and AI governance.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in

Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related fields

.

5+ years of experience

in IAM governance, control validation, or security architecture. Strong exposure to

AI/ML platforms

with an understanding of data access patterns in AI environments. Experience/familiarity with IAM tools such as

SailPoint, Entra ID, OneVault, HashiCorp Vault

. Hands-on knowledge of authentication protocols (SAML, OAuth2, JWT, OIDC). Understanding of

API principles

and regulatory frameworks (GDPR, MAS, NIST, ISO 27001, SOC2). Strong

stakeholder management, communication, and analytical skills

Pay: RM7,000.00 - RM7,500.00 per month
