Job Description

:

Import Management & Documentation



1) Proactively to manage and prepare all import documentation for sugar products, including invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, certificates of origin, and permits to ensure accuracy and timely submission.

2) To Initiate and coordinate import quota and AP applications with the Ministry of Domestic Trade (KPDN), ensuring approvals are obtained on time to support business continuity.

3) Liaise strategically with shipping agents, customs authorities, and government agencies to facilitate smooth and compliant clearance processes

4) To Monitor and track sugar shipment arrivals, ensuring strict adherence to quota allocations, product specifications, and clearance requirements.

5) To maintain and improve systematic record-keeping for import activities to support internal monitoring, audits, and regulatory compliance

6) To Analyze and prepare regular reports on quota utilization, stock arrivals, and import costs to support management decision-making.

7) Collaborate closely with the operations team to align sugar stock planning with market demand and distribution regulations.

Reporting and compliance Monitoring



1) To prepare and present weekly and monthly reports to management on shipment status, quota usage, and permit balances, highlighting potential risks or opportunities.

2)To Monitor policy developments related to controlled product imports and proactively update internal stakeholders on regulatory changes.

3) To Ensure compliance by maintaining proper documentation and records for all transactions, permit applications, and supporting documents for audit purposes.

4) Support and coordinate internal audits and inspections by KPDN or Customs, ensuring timely responses and corrective actions where necessary

QUALIFICATION.



- Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Business, Logistics, International Trade, or a related field.

- Minimum 2 years of experience in import/export operations, compliance, or a similar executive role.

- Strong understanding of customs procedures, KPDN regulations, and controlled product import requirements.

- Excellent communication, analytical, and reporting skills.

- Detail-oriented, self-driven, and able to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant import/export systems.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,400.00 - RM2,800.00 per month

Work Location: In person
