Job description:

Lead and in charge of purchasing of import and local fruits for MBG Fruits.
Work closely with Retail and Logistic department to ensure fruits stocks are sufficient.
Bargain and purchase for best price to compete in market standard.
Monitoring shipments to ensure compliance to regulations.
Follow up import documents for various exporter and obtain all customs releases and invoices for all exporter.
Coordinate with forwarding agent to make sure clearance and delivery of all goods.
Issuing all import purchase order in ERMS.
Communicate with supply chain for costing and quality issue.
Upkeep related documents for record purposes.
Prepare annual budget expenditure and make recommendation to management.
Update upcoming fruit details to marketing and wholesaler.

Requirements:

Candidates with Sales/Business Development experience from other industries are welcome to apply
A good understanding of Contract logistics, Airfreight and Shipping Line products, solutions, pricing and terminology would be added as an advantage
Excellent leadership, teamwork and collaborative with the overall business management skills
Has strong negotiation skills
Required language : Bahasa Malaysia, English
