This position will be supporting International VAT Manager, in respect of Elanco\xe2\x80\x99s Indirect taxes (VAT/GST/CT\xe2\x80\xa6) area and cooperating directly with external advisors and in-country business mainly within APAC.

The role requires a comprehensive understanding of Indirect tax requirements and practice.

Scope of duties:

• Provide advice on Indirect taxes questions to Finance, including support on design of Indirect
• taxes compliance processes. Cooperation with IT in the process of Indirect taxes set-up in SAP.
• Tax function on Indirect taxes aspects of various internal projects
• Manage external consultants to obtain Indirect taxes advice for APAC jurisdictions
• Work with the finance and accounting functions at to identify deficiencies in reporting processes that may lead to Indirect taxes exposures and/or reporting non-compliance, (Indirect taxes processes mapping and process improvements)
• Support during tax audits
• Explain Indirect taxes requirements to non-specialist colleagues in a fast-pasted evolving

environment

Basic Requirements:

• University degree (preferable in Finance or Accountancy)
• Knowledge of Indirect taxes system of at least one APAC country with at least 3 years of

professional experience (within business or advisory company)

• Fluent in English, additional languages are an advantage (especially Korean)
• Ability to analyze numerical data in MS Excel
• Experience with ERP-systems will be a plus
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
• Team player who is also able to work independently
