PgP5 Plant is Bosch Group\'s newest expansion in Malaysia a semiconductor test site in Batu Kawan Penang. With the long-term forecasts for growth of semiconductor component quantities, coupled with the front-end production in Bosch\'s Dresden facility in Germany, capacity expansion is required for the back-end production, which is the final testing phase of semiconductors and sensors.

Overall Overview:-

• To ensure the correct layout and process cycle in the production lines
• To ensure correct application of all relevant company guidelines for production time and output determination
• To ensure achievement of work plan data and planned cost targets for products in the final test area
• To ensure the capacity is secured to produce the desired output and to drive improvement topics.

• Act as Overall Interface to lead plant for Work process planning and Lean Manufacturing activities.
• To be responsible for production line layout and improvement of the line productivity of the employees and utilization rate of the machines.
• To analyze and evaluate machine processes and measurement of cycle times, downtimes, output and conversion in the evaluation system.
• To be responsible for Root cause analysis based on cycle time and work content like Analysis of losses, determination of causes (allowance times) and Problem solving in close cooperation with production and manufacturing teams.
• To be responsible to calculate and Maintain (BP-)Routing (VT/teb-calculation based on cycle time improvements) incl. definition of potential saving and lead the defined Ratio projects.
• To initiate technical, organizational and changeover improvements and implement them with production associated with an improvement plan.
• To manage technical capacity planning of the existing line and balancing charts.
• To perform evaluation of workplaces according to ergonomics and workplace specifications
• To conduct analysis on the installed capacity and provide recommendation to the management for new MAE\'s investment with justification together with PR, PO co-ordination.
• To be responsible for Lean manufacturing activities incl. leading continuous improvement projects, moderate/support workshops.
• To execute any other related duties assigned by immediate supervisor from time to time with compliance related company, central and legal requirements.

• Minimum 3 years to 5 years working experience in the semiconductor industry, preferable at least 3 years of related field of work process calculations and lean production.
• At least a Bachelor\'s Degree in Industrial & Manufacturing Engineering.
• Possess strong communication skills (both verbal & written) and moderate meetings/workshops with all levels and departments.
• Candidates must be proactive with ability to work in a team and with positive attitude.
• Good listener with negotiation skills
• Able to perform manufacturing and economic analysis (facts and figures)
• Possess business, commercial and technical skills with Lean Manufacturing Concept is a must.
• Candidate must be an accurate person with detailed and results oriented.
• Able to perform commercial discussion together with equipment supplier and engineering.
• Able to instruct and deal in shopfloor with clear set of logical standards and systematically follow them.
• Able to determine cost saving and quality improvement potential in his/her area with focus on company vision, mission, strategy and goals (SQCD)
• Open for business trip and able to travel as needed.
