Company Bacground: A US MNC Location: Bayan Lepas, Penang Position: Industrial Engineer Tenure: Permanent Headcount: 1 Job Scope: ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Manage continuous improvements projects and Lean activities and values stream mapping within the facility in order to improve overall workflow (Lean Champion), Develops and maintains a thorough understanding of divisional processes, product transfer documentation and business process structures Ability to perform Methods-Time Measurement (MTM), studies and communicate them in a meaningful manner for better operation efficiency Ability to modify or create CAD layouts for processes and/or facilities Possess the ability to identify opportunities and implement improvements. Demonstrates proven written & verbal communication skills Displays great teamwork attitude and abilities to collaborate and lead initiatives with effective influencing skills Qualifications and requirement . Bachelor\'s degree or Master in Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering with minimum 4- 6 years\' experience . . Intermediate PC expertise (Office, Simulation, other databases) . Proficiency in software packages such as Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, ) and AutoCAD . Good understanding of Integrated Safety, Material Handling, Ergo, Process & Plant Operation . intermediate SAP ERP use experience DESIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: Development of SOP and Procedures Manufacturing methods and processes Continuous improvement activities and methods AutoCAD MTM Ergonomic evaluations
