Job Description
Responsibilities
Analyze manufacturing processes and identify opportunities for improvement. Optimize plant layout, material flow, and workstation ergonomics. Conduct time and motion studies to define standard operation times and manpower needs. Support setup time reduction (SMED) and cycle time improvement projects. Assist in cost-saving initiatives via scrap reduction, tooling enhancements, and die change optimization. Contribute to Six Sigma and continuous improvement projects to minimize variation and waste. Prepare and maintain project plans, resource schedules, and performance reports.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field. Minimum 2 years of experience in industrial engineering, preferably in manufacturing/metal stamping. Strong skills in process improvement, lean manufacturing, and Six Sigma principles. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Able to assess processes critically and work across teams.
