Ensure best efficiency of the operations in the plant. Overall management and responsibility for the IE department considering company wide targets and strategies. Support the plant to realize the production budget and minimize non value-added operations by defining the required technical and human means considering quality, cost, quantity, timing targets and ergonomic aspects.

\xe2\x96\xaa Define department targets according to local and central targets
\xe2\x96\xaa Plan, coordinate and supervise activities of the IE-department in accordance with local and centrals targets
\xe2\x96\xaa Define personnel objectives, assess, develop and consult direct reporting positions within the IE department.
\xe2\x96\xaa Train management potentials and specific IE knowledge in IE department and initiate IE personnel development activities in agreement with management.

\xe2\x96\xaa Develop strategic concepts and ideas to improve the production processes
\xe2\x96\xaa Develop and implement strategies and measures to streamline the complete process chain.
\xe2\x96\xaa Coordinate and steer the CBS activities
\xe2\x96\xaa Ensure continuous improvement processes and engagement of people

\xe2\x96\xaa Analyze, evaluate and benchmark the production processes to increase added value.
\xe2\x96\xaa Benchmark the results of the analyses to other plants and report results to plant management.
\xe2\x96\xaa Identify fields of improvement within the process chain
\xe2\x96\xaa provide IE-specific data, plant and equipment design and layout requirements for CRs.
\xe2\x96\xaa Generate budget planning and production related analyses like OEE/TEEP analyses.

\xe2\x96\xaa Consult plant management regarding IE-specific concerns.
\xe2\x96\xaa Initiate/implement improvements in IE specific applications, e.g. work measurement, material flow etc.

\xe2\x96\xaa Ensure the implementation of standards according to CBS and continuous improvement of standards
\xe2\x96\xaa Support the design of human orientated work systems by analyzing and improving human-machine interaction considering social, economical and ecological aspects.
\xe2\x96\xaa Define and determine changes in labor organization and layouts and their consequences in regard of wage and performance structure.

\xe2\x96\xaa Generate capacity reports and internal key performance indicators.
\xe2\x96\xaa Design, implement, maintain and administrate rates/wages evaluation systems for plants to ensure maximum productivity and to reduce production costs.
\xe2\x96\xaa Compile production-, vacation and absence plans in cooperation with production control and production.
\xe2\x96\xaa Ensure data quality in all IE reports

\xe2\x96\xaa Coordinate and communicate local IE activities to central IE. Ensure the exchange of IE know how within the plant and between plants.
\xe2\x96\xaa Manage IE tasks within projects. Participate in projects as work package owner, project leader or steering team member.

Qualifications

Master in Mechanical Engineering (preferrable production technology)

• 3-5 years in tire business
• 3-5 years project leadership
• 3-5 years department leadership

Good communication skills and intercultural awareness, capability to communicate in the company IE network
