Join us as an Industry Segment Specialist - EV Charger where you will be creating end user acceptance and specification offering within the target segment(s). Driving and implementing marketing and sales activities for the selected market segment(s) in line with the agreed strategy besides working with key external influencers to educate, inform and solicit support for new ABB ventures and technical developments. Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and continuously monitor segment performance in Electrification Business Area. This position is based in Subang Jaya, Malaysia. You will be reporting to Product Marketing Director.Your responsibilities Implementing and reviewing target segment(s) strategies with country-specific action plans. Responsible for achieving key targets (e.g. volume, price, and mix) for the segment(s) in the specified market. Creating detailed business plans, implementing with regular follow-up. Monitoring market trends and recommending adjustments for the strategy and planning accordingly to meet changing market and competitive landscapes. Providing appropriate market information for long- to mid-term decision making. Developing and implementing annual marketing plan in conjunction with relevant Business Units/Product Groups. Preparing business plans focused on business development for a defined market. Communicating the end user value proposition for the target segment (internally and externally). Supporting local Sales organization to have an effective perception in the target segment(s). Creating and implementing the communication, promotion, and training activities in the segment. Participating in the development of international standards and regulations by influencing the appropriate bodies (including government, legislative bodies, technical and trade associations). Building and maintaining strong relationships with the key customers in the target segment. Following up ABB's performance in fulfilling their needs and communicating deficiencies and/or opportunities to the respective Business Units/Product Groups. Working closely with the relevant sales organization to help in identification and capture of future business. Driving the capture of end user/third party agreements and helping in negotiating complex legal and commercial frame agreements. Identifying and managing potential risks relating to contract agreements and prices across segments. Reports by segment to accurately measure progress and uses common tools to identify future opportunities. Your background Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical & Electronic or equivalent). Preferably 2 years and above working experiences in similar Businesses. Must be self-starter and pro-active. Be able to work independently as well as in team. A collaborative, solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia (additional languages will be a plus). Prosses own transport and willing to travel. Team player but able to carry out tasks with minimum supervision. Result oriented, ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
