Snapshot of the role: The IT Project Manager - is responsible to Plan, organise, direct and coordinate quality ICT projects and for developing timelines, setting budgets and assigning tasks within information technology or telecommunications. This IT project manager is required to oversee software and hardware development and changes, telecommunications strategy etc by taking a project from an idea to full implementation. You are driven to: Oversee and facilitate project deliveries and change requests to contribute to long term planning in adherence to SDLC processes and practices; Lead the development and implementation of strategies to deal with contemporary project issues involving multiple disciplines across different functional business unit stakeholders, product owners and IT functions; Define project goals, success metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to track and ensure all parties are informed on the project objectives, deliverables, impacts, budget, timelines, resources, quality etc. including taking ownership of the financials of projects from cost to billings; Analyse existing workflows and propose improvements; Document processes and practices into consumable dashboards and reports; Optimizes resources (internal and crowd) allocation, aligning it with project demands and where necessary to build a team from scratch to facilitate project delivery; Hands-on experience in advanced software development approaches and frameworks on new technologies for team collaboration; Conduct post-project evaluation and identify successful and unsuccessful project elements What you\'ll need to succeed: Bachelor or Master degree in IT Technology or equivalent Project / Program Management certification e.g. PMP / PRINCE II / Certified Scrum Master [CSM] / Professional Scrum Master [PSM] would be an added advantage Minimum 8 years of IT experience with 5 years in managing and completed large complex and integrated projects; Proven good leadership experience to inspire, guide, coach and empower team to be self-managing and cohesive cross functional team; Multi-cultural / international exposure would be an added advantage; Experience working with common agile engineering best practices principles, values and tracking tools such as Jira, Jira Plan, Jira Dashboards etc is a plus; Candidate must haveproven working and good leadership experience in Project Management with excellent track records in successfully leading and delivery projects, managing teams and sub-contractors, handling stakeholder relationships in alignment with organizational goals; Solid technical background for managing IT transformation projects across various business units Highly motivated and self-driven problem solver with ability to identify and resolve team impediments to ensure project goals and requirements are met; Excellent business acumen, problem solving, analytical and interpersonal skills with excellent client-facing and internal communication skills (written and verbal); Solid good organizational skills including attention to details and multi-tasking ability; goal-oriented and results driven approach. Able to travel domestically within Peninsular, East Malaysia and Overseas Applicants must be willing to work in Bukit Jelutong, Shah Alam.
