Systems Engineer

to join our expert technical team.

Your Role

As a Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, securing, and managing resilient ICT infrastructure for our diverse portfolio of clients. You will be our technical expert across a wide range of technologies, including networking, virtualization, and security.

Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure Deployment:

Lead the hands-on installation, configuration and maintenance of servers, storage (SAN/NAS), HCI platforms, networking and security hardware.

System Administration:

Manage and maintain both

Windows Server and Linux

environments, handling everything from patching and performance tuning to user administration and system hardening.

Security Implementation:

Deploy and manage security solutions, including firewalls. Proactively apply security best practices and policies to safeguard client infrastructure.

Automation & Optimization:

Improve efficiency by automating routine tasks using various tools such as shell scripting.

Technical Support:

Serve as a escalation point for complex technical issues, providing expert troubleshooting to ensure maximum uptime and reliability for our clients.

Key Competencies Required

Strong experience with

Windows Server

administration (Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, etc. ). Proficient in

Linux

administration (RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu), including command-line tools and typical server-side daemon.

Data Center & Virtualization:

Hands-on experience with server virtualization platforms (

Sangfor, Proxmox, VMware, Microsoft Hyper-V

). Solid understanding of storage technologies (SAN, NAS, iSCSI) and Hyper-Converged Infrastructure (HCI).

Networking & Security:

Proficiency in networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, Routing, Switching). Demonstrable experience in firewall configuration and management (e.g., Fortinet, Palo Alto) and implementing security best practices.

Automation & Scripting:

Practical scripting ability to automate tasks, including with

PowerShell

,

Bash

and similar tools.

General Requirements:

Minimum 2-years of experience in a relevant technical role. Certifications such as MCSA/MCSE, RHCSA, CCNA, or CompTIA Security+ are a strong advantage. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple projects. Must possess own transport and be willing to travel to client sites.
