Job Description

Set up and prepare injection molding machines and related equipment for production runs. Perform mold changes, including the installation and removal of molds, inserts, and related components. Monitor and adjust machine parameters to ensure proper molding conditions and adherence to quality standards. Conduct regular inspections and troubleshooting of injection molding machines, identifying and resolving issues such as machine malfunctions, part defects, and material inconsistencies. Collaborate with production team members to optimize cycle times, minimize scrap, and improve overall production efficiency. Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment. Assist in the development and implementation of process improvements, including the optimization of machine settings, material handling, and mold design. Ensure compliance with safety guidelines and company policies throughout all injection molding operations. Document production data, including cycle times, scrap rates, downtime, and maintenance activities. Support training and mentoring initiatives for junior technicians and production operators.
