Job Role Summary:

• Develop inspection plan, executes the maintenance and inspection program of storage tanks, pipelines, pressure vessel and other equipment in accordance to applicable industrial practices and regulations.
• Evaluate and analyze inspection results using RBI and CMMS. Issue independent inspection report for the findings and recommend follow-up actions.
• Establish good co-operation and co-ordination with Department of Occupational, Safety and Health (DOSH) in executing inspection exercise for registered equipment.
• Keeping abreast in inspection programs by continuous review of inspection strategy, implementing latest technique in inspection methodology and technology.
• Develop inspection training program and train Inspection Team to the required competency level.
• Monitor inspection expenditure within the approved budget.
• Manage internal EPC project by reviewing scope of works, equipment specifications, engineering drawings, material selection and testing requirement.

Expected Level of Proficiency:

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Mechanical or equivalent from a recognized university
• Minimum 5 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience as Asset Integrity/Inspection Engineer in the petrochemical/chemical industry.
• Familiar with the relevant International standards and Codes of Practice : local codes, API code, ASME code.
• An effective team player with good communication & interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Project and PowerPoint is required.
• Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English language, being proactive, highly motivated and able to work independently.
