Participating in the design and engineering of electrical and instrumentation systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards, codes, and safety regulations.
Assisting in the development and implementation of control strategies, logic diagrams, and control systems using PLCs, DCS, and SCADA systems.
Preparation of Instrument List, IO summary and cabling requirements and scope matrix will be your responsibility when procurement is required for the IC&A scope.
To liaise with client(s), other engineering disciplines and department for the necessary interface control and coordination to attain the assigned objectives with the desired results.
To prepare and review the Bill of Materials (BOM) as per clients' specifications and industry Oil and Gas standards / regulations.
Leading and supervising commissioning activities for electrical and instrumentation systems, ensuring adherence to project schedules and quality standards.
Preparation of datasheets for field instruments, on/off valves and control valves.
Preparation of instrument cable routing and developing instrument cable schedule
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering or a related field
At least 5 years working experience in electrical & instrumentation commissioning
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other applicable software programs.
Experience with control system programming and software tools such as PLC programming, DCS programming, or SCADA systems
Proficiency in AutoCAD Plant 3D and AutoCAD.
Familiar with E3D / SP3D software
Know how to use / operate Navisworks
Familiar with E&I fabrication drawings
Knowledgeable in plant instruments / electrical equipment.
Familiar with field instruments installation, setting and commissioning
