Job Purpose

To assist Lead Discipline and Senior Engineer in developing an engineering design work that meets with schedule, budgetary, quality, and technical requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities

The candidate can be appointed as a Field Engineer for a project. Prepare deliverables as delegated by the LE/SE. Preparation of detailed design calculations and drawings Prepare equipment material requisitions, specifications, and data sheets. Perform technical bid evaluations. Review Vendor documents. Carry out deliverables quality control checks as per company or project requirements. Assist LE in providing technical advice and input to other disciplines / Project Management / Client/ Site during construction / pre-commissioning / commissioning/start-up/acceptance test. Perform any other functions as allocated by LE/SE/HoS. Details discipline task refers to specific Discipline Work Instructions

Qualifications

Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent field. Registered engineer with the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) 3 - 6 years' experience in executing engineering work in Oil & Gas Industry Able to plan and execute most of the engineering tasks, calculations and including detail design work and site work with minimal supervision. Able to prepare cost estimation and technical proposals with minimal supervision. Able to coordinate designers and drafters in the same group. Able to coordinate vendors involved in the project. Capable of working as teamwork in Engineering multidiscipline environment
