Job Description

Instrument Technician: In general, as an instrumentation technician, they need to perform test, calibrate, install, repair, and inspect manufacturing equipment and monitoring devices such as transmitter, valve, encoder, motor control circuit, pneumatic system, hydraulic system etc. There were also perform general maintenance on the equipment and design new measuring and recording equipment according to the requirement from process team. : 1) Technician/Electrician for Engineering Department (Control & Instrumentation) 2) To carry out daily inspection of control and instrumentation of the plant-Control & Instrumentation. 3) To execute instrumentation calibration according to required accuracy and frequency-Control & Instrumentation. 4) To involve in control system continuous improvement plan and machinery automation - Control & Instrumentation. 5) To involve in installation and testing of new control system and instrumentation - Control & Instrumentation Requirements: - Candidate must possess at least a Certificates or Diploma in Engineering (Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronic, or Mechanical) or equivalent - Preferably Non-Executives specializing in Wiring, Electrical Maintenance, Maintenance/Repair (Facilities & Machinery) equivalent from manufacturing background. - Good troubleshooting skills on PLC & Instrumentation and able to understand wiring/loop drawings for Control & Instrumentation. - Good electrical skills, basic mechanical and pneumatic skills for - Plant & Process. - Required language(s): Able to read and write in Bahasa Malaysia & English.
