Key responsibilities

• To carry out the tasks of installation, maintenance, calibration, testing, troubleshooting, and improvement of field instruments and control systems.
• To plan and carry out daily/ weekly/ monthly routine and adhoc works assigned and requested by Engineer.
• To record job performed and outstanding in Maintenance Log Book, and close Work Order in SAP in timely manner. Outstanding job shall be handed over to shift technician in proper manner
• To respond to breakdown outside office hour (including weekends and public holidays) and ready to perform and/or support troubleshooting and repairing.
• To adhere to Workplace Safety, Food Safety, GMP, and Product Quality policies and guidelines at all time.
• To report and escalate abnormal occurrence, event, incident, and situation pertaining production quality, food safety, workplace safety, and environment to superior immediately.
• To undergo shift work pattern when situation arises and/or assigned by Engineer.
• Right first time: To continuously strive for 100% Right First Time through the reduction of scrap and rework and the optimisation of the production process
• Shift Handover: To facilitate smooth transfer of information from one shift to another
• Training: Committed to company trainings.
• Communication: To pass down the information from superior to down line or relevant parties and to bring up important matters to the superior.
• Continuous Improvement: To participate in continuous improvement activities as necessary.
• Quality: To ensure all works are done correctly, clear and good presentation
• Health, Safety and Environment: To ensure health, safety and environment is taken care at all the times.
• Customer (Internal / External): To understand the customer and consumer needs and work accordingly
• To perform any task assign by the superior from time to time
• Respond for any C&I and CCTV related issues
• Assists in CCTV maintenance
• Ensure all C&I spare parts are sufficient in inventory
• Ensure no repeated issues related to C&I and propose solutions to eliminate repeating issues.
• Upkeep C&I related documents (Operating Manual, I/O lists, Backup Programs etc
• Ensure all SCADA, HMI & PLC programs are up to date & having backup
• Assists in PLC, SCADA & HMI program modifications

• Minimum Diploma in Instrument & Control, Electrical & Electronics, Mechatronics, Process Technology, or relevant field of study.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in similar job functions
• Computer literate - familiar with MS Excel, Word
• Must have a good knowledge & understanding in maintenance, calibration, selection, troubleshooting, and installation of control and instrument equipment
• Able to execute and monitor daily preventive and corrective maintenance work.
• Good technical skill
• PLC & SCADA knowledge are desirable
• Good initiative and results oriented;
• Exemplary leadership qualities and able to make difficult decisions;
• A team player with high, dynamic, result-oriented and able to work under pressure
