Overview / Responsibilities
Instrumentation Drafter position summary shall be as follows as minimum:
- Creates 2D autocad drawings from engineering sketches, drawings from design mark up, etc.
- Basic knowledge in PFD and PID
- Basic experience in Instrument and Fire & Gas drafting such as layout, installation, hook up, wiring, loop, etc.
- Have a basic understanding of Instrument and Fire & Gas components, materials and industry codes
- Working under the guidance of the Lead Instrument Designer
- Be familiar with Instrumentation Design / Drafting Department standards & procedures and support the Instrumentation Design team to ensure integrity of project drawings and documents are maintained and consistent
- Be able to work under pressure and extra hours
Instrumentation Drafter shall have minimum requirement as below:
- 5-6 years on-the-job Instrumentation design experience
- Expertin "AutoCAD" and/or "Microstation" proficiency or other related 2D CAD software
- Entry level utilizing 3D modeling software such as PDMS,E3D, etc
- Requires entry-level knowledge of design codes, fabrication and construction techniques, and industry standards
