Job Summary:

We're looking for a versatile Integration Engineer to help us build secure, scalable, and high-performance API/integration systems that connect our digital platforms and services. In this role, you'll work at the intersection of backend development, system architecture, and API design, hence ensuring seamless data flow and integration across our ecosystem.

This is a high-impact role where you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, influence technical decisions, and contribute to the foundation of our digital infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

? Design, build, and maintain APIs using modern paradigms: REST, GraphQL, gRPC, WebSockets, etc.,

? Develop integration solutions using identified language such as Python, Java, or .NET, depending on project needs,

? Collaborate with frontend, backend, and DevOps teams to ensure smooth system connectivity,

? Apply best practices in API security, authentication, and lifecycle management,

? Build systems that are scalable, resilient, and performant,

? Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code,

? Participate in design and code reviews, as well as troubleshooting and debugging, issues to maintain high engineering standards, and

? Stay ahead of trends in API technologies, protocols, and security.

Required Qualifications

? Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).

? 3+ years of experience in software development and API engineering

? Experience with Python (Flask/FastAPI), Java (Spring Boot), Node.JS, Javascript/Typescript, or .NET Core

? Deep understanding of HTTP/HTTPS, JSON, XML, OAuth2, and/or JWT

? Hands-on experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases

? Familiarity with Swagger/OpenAPI and API documentation standards

? Knowledge of API versioning, rate limiting, and throttling

? Experience in API's authentication and authorization protocol/methods.

? Proficient with Git and version control workflows

Preferred Qualifications:

? Knowledge of cloud platforms (preferred Azure). Knowledge in multi-cloud is a plus.

? Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

? Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

? Exposure to microservices and event-driven architecture

? Knowledge of integration platforms like Mulesoft, Apache Camel, Kong, or Apigee is added advantage.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: RM7,000.00 - RM8,500.00 per month
