Accordingly and in line with best practices, Sanofi decided to create an integrated interco Center of Excellence (CoE) combining a deep knowledge in business processes, technical expertise and software delivery with a passion for user experience.
This role is reporting to the Interco CoE Head.
The role will have the overall responsibility to lead the operational team in charge of all transactional activities ensuring high quality, on time & controlled processes.
This role is located in the captive and part of the A2R organization within the Sanofi Business Services (SBS) organization. A2R is an end-to-end process organization that consolidates the following activities: Fixed assets, Intercompany Accounting, Bank Accounting, General Ledger Accounting and closing, Cost Accounting, Tax accounting, Financial and Statutory Reporting, Master Data.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Delivery service:
Ensure issuing invoices, booking, settlements and reconciliation of Interco Services
Major rebilling\xe2\x80\x99s calculation
Major processing & Booking in the system
Approval Major & Minor requests in the system
Process non-system-based Major/Minor requests
Ensure issuing invoices, booking, and reconciliation of Interco Manual Interco product flow & reconcile automated Interco product flows
Book Interco product invoices payable/receivables (Debit/Credit notes)
Daily review, support identification root cause and support on the resolution automatic flow interface failures
Daily review Open Items /Clearings/Clear Purchase orders with invoice
Book accruals product (only due to cut-off/incoterms issues, Goods in Transit, not invoiced automated product flow)
Perform month-end closing & Reporting\'s on Interco data
Month-end close
Reconciliation interco transactions
Reporting in Corporate Reporting tool (adjust figures, analyze discrepancies and submission)
Ageing analysis
Settlements
Prepare & Run payment Services & product Invoices
Declaration in netting system
Clearing services invoices in account payable
Clearing product invoices in account payable
Prepare & book Dividends & Withholding tax with Retained teams collaboration
Contribute to external and Tax Audits
Internal control documentation ensuring compliance and SOX standard adherence
Prepare external audit documentation
Ensure KPI are reached
Ensure an agile program delivery that enables to build the right solutions that deliver business value swiftly and define key metrics for sourcing organization effectiveness
Sets up close relationships with local stakeholders when needed to allow smooth issue resolution
Set up close relationship within the organization (Continuous Improvement , Other Operations Leads and Technology & automation) to provide improvements in the process & Solutions to secure an End to End optimized & efficient process.
People Management
Manage the Operational team based in the location position.
Gives visibility and communicates on the transactional interco activities
Sets objectives for his/her staff and assesses the contributions during interviews
Develops team skillset to adapt to evolving roles in the COE coming from new technologies and changes in organization
Oversees hiring process and manages career path for his/her team
Creates a culture of cooperation, performance and teamwork across Operational Interco CoE team members, especially between other Interco CoE members and ensure a smooth interface to the relevant stakeholders outside A2R.
Geographic scope
Intercompany transactions for all JPAC/Greater China affiliates with other affiliates.
The intercompany transactions for Latin-American affiliates will be managed by Captive in Bogota and the intercompany transactions for European, North America will be managed by Captive in Budapest.
