Requirements
Diploma in Interior Design or related field.
1-2 years of relevant experience in interior design, preferably with experience in kitchen and wardrobe design.
Proficiency in Interior Design, Space Planning, AutoCAD, and 3D Modeling software.
Experience in project management, including coordinating with contractors and suppliers.
Knowledge of material selection and sourcing for interior design projects.
Strong communication skills in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin to effectively communicate with clients, colleagues, and suppliers.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Onsite presence at No.10, Jalan Marikh, U5/177, Bandar Pinggiran Subang, Seksyen U5, 40150 Shah Alam, Selangor, Malaysia is required.
Experience in customizing and manufacturing stylish kitchen and wardrobe solutions is a plus.
Responsibilities
Assist senior designers in developing design concepts and solutions for residential and commercial projects.
Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and construction documents using AutoCAD, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project standards.
Create 3D models and renderings to visualize design ideas and present them to clients and stakeholders.
Participate in space planning and furniture layout, optimizing functionality and aesthetics.
Conduct research on materials, finishes, and furniture, selecting appropriate options based on design intent, budget, and durability requirements.
Collaborate with project managers and contractors to ensure timely and accurate execution of design plans.
Assist in project management tasks, including tracking project progress, managing budgets, and coordinating with vendors.
Maintain a comprehensive understanding of current design trends, building codes, and accessibility standards.
