Job Description
Requirements:
- Diploma/ Degree in Accounting or Finance
- Professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CIMA) preferred
- At least 3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a multinational or group company setup
- Familiar with cost/project accounting, WIP tracking, and job-order P&L
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax, and reporting standards
- Proficient in MS Office and accounting software
- Fluent in English; Mandarin or Japanese is an added advantage
- Detail-oriented, responsible, and able to meet tight deadlines
Basic Salary: RM 5,500
Fixed Transport Allowance: RM 1,000
Fixed Monthly Allowance: RM 1,000
Perfect Attendance Allowance: RM 50/month
OT claimable
EPF, SOCSO, EIS
Bonus (based on company performance)

Accountant - Job Summary
Our client, established in 2006 with its Malaysian headquarters in Shah Alam and part of a Japanese group specializing in vacuum technology equipment, is seeking an Accountant to join their team. The company operates across Southeast Asia, with close collaboration with regional offices in Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, and the Philippines.
Location: Off Jalan Bukit Kemuning, Shah Alam
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Management & Accounting Operations
- Manage daily accounting functions including AR/AP, general ledger, payroll, treasury, and budgeting
- Handle monthly and year-end closing processes
- Prepare and review financial statements and reports for local management and Japan HQ
- Monitor WIP (Work in Progress) jobs and billings
- Review salary disbursements, payables, and assist with cash flow planning
- Support audit, tax, and statutory filing requirements
- Assist in the preparation of annual business plans and financial forecasts
- Ensure accurate and timely submission of monthly reports to Japan HQ
- Maintain compliance with ISO standards and internal control procedures
- Coordinate with the Company Secretary on compliance matters
- Support the accounting outsourcing initiative from the Singapore regional HQ
- Help improve internal accounting systems and ensure data integrity
