Job Description

• At least 1 year working experience min diploma in interior design or a related field.
• Proven experience working as an interior designer, preferably in residential, commercial, or institutional projects.
• Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software, such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max or Revit.
• Can speak in English and Mandarin
• Strong creative and conceptual design skills, with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop innovative design concepts that align with the client\'s vision, functional requirements, and budget constraints
• Utilize your knowledge of space planning principles to optimize the layout and flow of interior spaces, ensuring efficient use of space and adherence to building codes and regulations.
• Research and select appropriate materials, finishes, furnishings, and accessories that enhance the aesthetic appeal and functionality of interior spaces.
• Create detailed drawings, renderings, and visualizations using computer-aided design (CAD) software, such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max or Revit to help clients visualize the proposed designs.
• Maintain regular communication with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and feedback. Present design proposals, provide updates on project progress, and address any concerns or revisions requested by the client.
• Collaborate closely with architects, contractors, and other professionals involved in the construction or renovation process to ensure seamless integration of interior design with overall architectural plans.
• Travel within Malaysia may be required for site visits and client meetings.
