It\xe2\x80\x99s an opportunity to be part of something special.About the roleWe are looking for an Intern \xe2\x80\x93 Accounting & Finance who will be partnering with JK C&C team and support in day-to-day deliverables especially on month-end closing tasks & controls per our ways of workingOffice Location: Haleon Petaling Jaya, Plaza33Title of Hiring Manager: Financial Controller, CH Close and ControlPeriod of Internship Required: July 2024- Dec 2024 (6 months preferred)Preferred School/Course of Intern: Open to all disciplines.You will be required to:

• Participate in completing month-end GL (general ledger) close and reporting of entity\xe2\x80\x99s results to Corporate.
• Responsible in the preparation of balance sheet reconciliations, preparation of journal entries and execution of internal control in accordance with Haleon Internal Control Framework.
• Collaborate within the team, stakeholders and other functions (P2P, O2C, Stat & Tax) to ensure successful month-end close.

By joining this internship, you will be able to:

• Obtain high level overview of the close and control-related processes, system and activities.
• Support various month-end closing and controls tasks.
• Learn teamwork and engagement with team members and stakeholders.

Basic Qualifications:We are looking for someone with the following:

• Educational background \xe2\x80\x93 Degree with Finance / Accounting
• Proficient in use of IT and software/systems such as excel.

• Strong written and oral communications skills.
