Our opportunity for you:

Job Title : Intern, Client Accounting

Job Type : Internship

Location : KL Office, Malaysia

Purpose of the role:

Assisting in accounting data entry and internal administrative work.

Scope:

The candidate is required to prepare the accounting report and liaise with the operational team.

Key responsibilities:

• Generate timely and accurate customer invoices monthly.
• Maintain and improve customer contract folders as well as the documentation process for monthly invoices
• Monitor account receivable aging report to ensure timely customer payments while communicating with managers to ensure overdue invoices are addressed with customer
• Assist in resolving customer inquiries regarding invoicing and payment process
• Assist in gathering and compiling data to generate monthly revenue reports as well as other reports relevant to accounts receivable
• Prepare / updating the Trust Account reconciliation and monitoring the transaction
• Assisting in opening / closing of client\'s bank accounts and liaison with the bankers
• Setup and arrange the payment for the payables
• Prepare full set of accounts for client
• Other accounting related administrative work.

Attributes & Skills:

• Good and fluency written and oral communication skills in English
• Computer proficiency in MS Office Application (Excel and PowerPoint)
• Knowledge in book keeping and MFRS/IFRS
• Independent, self-motivated, energetic team player, adaptable to a fast-changing environment, meticulous/multitasking

IT savvy

Relevant experience:

• No experience required.

Education/Professional Qualifications:

• Degree in Finance and/or Accounting or an equivalent qualification
