Job summary:
Internship provides an opportunity for students or recent graduates to gain practical experience and insights into the operations and strategies of the Sales Force Effectiveness and Route to Market department. The intern will work closely with the Sales team to analyse and optimize the time spent on various sales activities to support the development of sales strategies into improving market coverage and enhancing overall sales and distribution effectiveness.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Conducting Time Motion studies in the sales department to analyse and optimize the time spent on various sales activities. This analysis helps identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement in the sales process and to support the development of sales strategies.
  • Involves identifying the specific sales activities to be observed and measured.
  • Observing and recording the time taken to complete each sales activity. This may involve using time-tracking tools, conducting interviews and shadowing sales representatives to gain insights into their daily activities and challenges to gather accurate data.
  • Assist in analysing the collected data to identify patterns, trends, and areas where time is being wasted or could be optimized and areas for improvement.
  • Exposure to sales operations and sales enablement tools.
  • Opportunity to work closely with sales professionals and gain insights into their roles and responsibilities.
  • Performs other related administrative tasks.
  • Openly share new ideas and information during final presentation.
Job Requirements:
  • Currently enrolled in a relevant degree program or recent graduate in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and analyse data.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to effectively learn and acquire new knowledge and skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment.
