The Mobility mobile team is an engineering group that enhances the core Transportation experience in the Grab passenger app, improving millions of daily users across Southeast Asia. Comprised of engineers, the team strives to deliver the best possible experience for Grab Transportation service consumers.
Get to Know the Role
We are looking for a passionate iOS Software Engineer to join our team, working on the iOS passenger app used by millions daily. You'll engage with exciting product ideas and engineering challenges, experiencing your work firsthand in the Grab app. You will report to the Senior Software Engineering Manager. This is a paid internship role and is based onsite in Petaling Jaya.
The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

• You will onboard to Grab mobile app development for the Mobility team.
• You will understand the end-to-end product development process at scale.
• You will work with Product/Design/Analytics teams to assess problems, provide feedback, and estimate timelines.
• You will collaborate with engineers to implement scalable, reliable solutions and support tasks with reusable, testable code.

Qualifications
What Essential Skills You Will Need

• Only for candidates who are available to start in July 2025.
• Your studies as an Undergraduate in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Data Science, Information Technology/Science, or related fields.
• You have familiarity in programming tools and languages such as Swift/Objective-C
• You can structure data and write algorithms
