We are looking for a proactive Internal Control Executive to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of internal processes and compliance for Park Here Sdn Bhd (a subsidiary of PREC), located in Shah Alam, Selangor.
The Internal Control Executive manages the organization's internal control systems to ensure financial accuracy, regulatory compliance, and risk mitigation. Additionally, the role drives operational excellence and sustainability by overseeing ISO 9001:2015 standards, workplace safety (OSH) compliance, and the implementation of ESG initiatives.
Responsibilities
Internal Control & Risk Management
Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining internal control policies, procedures, and frameworks.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and business processes.
Conduct internal control testing and document findings, risks, and control gaps.
Identify process inefficiencies, compliance risks, and potential fraud exposure.
Support internal audits and coordinate with internal and external auditors.
Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and internal standards.
Prepare internal control reports, observations, and recommendations for management.
Follow up on corrective actions and remediation plans.
Support enterprise risk assessment and fraud prevention initiatives.
Maintain proper documentation of processes, controls, and audit evidence.
ISO 9001:2015 - Quality Management System
Lead the implementation, maintenance, and continual improvement of the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System (QMS).
Develop, review, and control QMS documentation including quality policies, objectives, procedures, SOPs, and records.
Ensure organizational processes align with ISO 9001:2015 requirements, including risk-based thinking and process approach.
Plan and conduct internal audits, management reviews, and follow up on corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) and opportunity for improvement (OFI).
Act as the primary liaison with certification bodies during external and surveillance audits.
Monitor KPIs, customer satisfaction, complaints, non-conformities, and quality performance trends.
Conduct ISO awareness and QMS training for employees.
Ensure compliance with applicable statutory, regulatory, and customer requirements.
Occupational Safety & Health (OSH)
Ensure compliance with OSH laws, statutory requirements, and company safety policies.
Develop, implement, and monitor safety procedures, risk assessments, and hazard identification (HIRARC).
Conduct workplace safety inspections, incident investigations, and corrective actions.
Organize OSH training, toolbox talks, and safety awareness programs.
Maintain OSH records, reports, and statutory documentation.
Liaise with authorities, contractors, and internal stakeholders on OSH matters.
ESG (Environmental, Social & Governance)
Support sustainability initiatives related to energy efficiency, waste management, resource optimization, and environmental compliance.
Monitor, track, and report environmental performance indicators and improvement initiatives.
Support employee well-being, workplace safety, training, and corporate social responsibility (CSR) programs.
Promote ethical conduct, diversity, and responsible business practices.
Support corporate governance practices, internal policies, and risk management activities.
Assist in the preparation of ESG reports and disclosures for management and stakeholders.
Collect, analyze, and maintain ESG data for reporting, audits, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
Candidates should hold a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field such as Finance, Engineering, Quality Management or equivalent, ideally complemented by professional certifications in auditing (CIA/ISO), safety (OSH), or sustainability (ESG).
The candidate should possess 2 to 5 years of experience in internal audit, risk management, or internal controls, with specific exposure to ISO 9001:2015 implementation, OSH compliance, and corporate governance.
Expert in risk assessment, process documentation, and report writing.
Detail-oriented, independent, and capable of managing various stakeholders across the company.

Pay: RM2,600.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
