Responsibilities

  • Prepare for the Group\'s Control Process readiness.
  • Process documentation plus set up policy framework on financial processes including but not limited to P2P, O2C and R2R.
  • Gap analysis, walkthroughs, (control test and narrative) documentation.
  • Appropriately document exceptions and deficiencies, including working with process owners to develop and execute a remediation plan.
  • Understand initiatives related to an in-house operating system and identify the impact on processes, systems and data and its downstream financial reporting.
  • Actively participate and provide hands-on support during problem identification sessions, to help capture and document problems, major issues and actionable opportunities.
  • Train and support process owners with their responsibility to ensure operating effectiveness of internal controls over financial reporting, including maintaining current process documentation.
  • Proactive involvement with process and control owners to avoid internal control design gaps created from changes or evolution of business process changes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor\'s degree / Professional qualification in Accountancy or Finance.
  • 4 - 6 years of experience with SOX compliance for a public technology company and/or Big 4 experience.
  • Understanding of SOX requirements, COSO framework, and the audit process.
  • Excellent interpersonal (verbal and written) and audit documentation skills
  • Experience with analyzing and identifying the pros and cons of options and exercise critical thinking, problem solving, and judgment skills
  • Demonstrated project management skills, including managing an audit project plan from beginning to end.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver high quality results.
  • A creative mindset and a willingness to question assumptions and conventional wisdom. You love creating new systems and solving problems via infrastructure and automation to drive process standardization.
  • A flair in look out for opportunities to support the team\'s service offering with a focus on repeatable, scalable, exportable practices and tools
