Job Summary The International Student Advisor/Student Advisor reports directly to the Centre Director and is responsible for carrying out the student services, admission operations, administrative and customer services in accordance with the policies and procedures of ELS Language Centres, Malaysia. His/her responsibilities include performing all the following in addition to other duties as may be necessary or assigned by Centre Manager from time to time. Job Duties The International Student Advisor/Student Advisor is responsible for performing the following specific duties: \xe2\x80\xa2 Answer enquiries (phone, email & walk in). \xe2\x80\xa2 Assist current students in general enquiries. \xe2\x80\xa2 Attend education & school fairs. \xe2\x80\xa2 Prepare/maintain files for new/current & past students - to include ALL required documentation. \xe2\x80\xa2 Handle international students\' visa applications/cancellation/shortening/special pass etc. \xe2\x80\xa2 Facilitate ALL students/centre immigration policies and services (transfers, withdrawals, etc). \xe2\x80\xa2 Advise students on maintaining legal immigration status. \xe2\x80\xa2 Liaise with Immigration through CAO. \xe2\x80\xa2 Update MIA List & make the necessary reports (police & immigration). \xe2\x80\xa2 Perform any other duties as and when assigned. \xe2\x80\xa2 Handling Hubspot enquiries. \xe2\x80\xa2 Assist students on accommodation. \xe2\x80\xa2 Updating visa report. \xe2\x80\xa2 Marketing TESOL and organize classes for IELTS & TOEFL. Minimum Job Requirements Education: Diploma/ Degree in Business or related fields. Experience: Relevant work experience preferred. Personal Characteristics: Must be confident, self-reliant and self motivated; must have poise and bearing; must be stable, flexible and organized; must have ability to analyze and solve problems; must be culturally sensitive.
