Overview
As an Internship in the Compliance Department in I REIT Managers Sdn. Bhd., the management company (\xe2\x80\x9cManager\xe2\x80\x9d) of AME Real Estate investment Trust (\xe2\x80\x9cAME REIT\xe2\x80\x9d) which is listed on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience and contribute to the Manager\xe2\x80\x99s compliance efforts in managing AME REIT. Working under the guidance of the Compliance Team, you will assist in various compliance activities, including research, documentation, and process improvement initiatives. This internship is designed to provide exposure to the regulatory environment and enhance your understanding of compliance practices within the Listed REIT industry in Malaysia. Responsibilities:

• To conduct research on relevant laws, regulations, and guidelines applicable to the REIT industry in Malaysia.
• To assist the Compliance Team to manage corporate affairs of Compliance Department of the Manager.
• To assist in the documentation and maintenance of compliance policies, procedures, and frameworks of the Manager.
• Help with the preparation of compliance reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders of the Manager and AME REIT.
• To assist in corporate secretarial matters that may be assigned from time to time from management.
• Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time from management.

Education Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field; and/or
• Currently pursuing ICSA course.

Skills:

• Good in MS Office \xe2\x80\x93 Word, Excel & Powerpoint.
• Good understanding of the Companies Act 2016 is an added advantage.
• Familiar with Bursa Malaysia Main Market Listing Requirements, Malaysian Code on Corporate Governance 2021, Capital Markets and Services Act 2007 and AML/CFT are added advantages.
• Proficient in both spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia. Proficiency in both spoken and written Mandarin is an advantage.
• Positive work attitude with strong initiative and a team player.
• Meticulous, detailed and deadline oriented.
• Independent, self-motivated, and possesses good interpersonal skills.
• Proactive, eager to learn, and willing to take on new challenges.
