Key Responsibilities & Internship Focus

The successful intern will be integral to our daily production operations and process improvement initiatives, including:

Production & Efficiency:

Work within and facilitate a

team-oriented environment

to assure daily outputs meet the production plan and specifications. Contribute to setting and meeting line operational standards, helping to

troubleshoot

situations that may cause downtime and impact

OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness)

. Focus on

in-process job scanning efficiency

and machine job tracking updates. Engage in main activities such as

Raw Material management, Machine Control, Loading/unloading processes, and Change cutter procedures

.

Quality & Analysis:

Conduct

production in-process checking

and equipment parameter generation based on standard lists. Assist in creating

VISUAL AIDS

and updating

Cycle Time

Analyse rejection rates

using statistical tools like

Minitab (GR&R study)

to drive quality improvements in conjunction with the production team

Process Improvement & Documentation:

Support the implementation of applicable

Lean tools

to foster a culture of change. Assist in creating a

production organization chart visualization (WI)

and conduct internal production configuration audits. Update daily production progress trend charts and production prism plans.

Requirements

Currently pursuing Degree in

Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.

Strong interest in

machining processes

and production efficiency. Excellent communication and ability to work effectively in a

team environment

. Proactive attitude and a willingness to

work interactively with the production floor

for quality improvement.

Contract length: 6 months

Pay: RM800.00 - RM1,200.00 per month
