Job Description

Job Summary:

The Accounting Intern will support the finance and accounting team with a variety of tasks including bookkeeping, data entry, financial reporting, and reconciliations. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to develop real-world experience and understanding of accounting principles and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

-Assist in daily accounting operations including accounts payable and receivable.

-Enter and update financial transactions in accounting software.

-Help prepare invoices, receipts, and other financial documents.

-Support monthly bank and account reconciliations.

-Organize and maintain digital and physical financial records.

-Assist with preparing financial reports and statements.

-Support audits by providing necessary documentation and data.

-Perform general administrative and clerical support for the finance department.

Qualifications:

-Currently pursuing a degree/diploma in Accounting

-Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.

-Proficient in Microsoft Excel; knowledge of accounting software (AutoCount) is a plus.

-Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

-Good analytical and organizational skills.

-Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

-Proficiency in English

Job Type: Internship
Contract length: 4-6 months

Pay: RM500.00 - RM700.00 per month
