Internship for Corporate Communications MYR 800 + Daily Lunch Meals

We bridge the gap for our partners to maximize the power of mobile technology across 16 regional offices in more than 38 countries. Servicing more than 90 mobile operators globally since 2006, we are an award-winning company that develops scalable mobile platforms, delivering content subscription services, digital voucher, and e-commerce platforms, as well as mobile apps for all ages. We also organize esports events and CSR initiatives that create opportunities for communities in a connected world. The Corporate PR team is looking for individuals with a passion for Corporate Communications, Employee Culture & Engagement, and CSR. The intern will play a part in shaping the company\xe2\x80\x99s culture through internal campaigns and events, email newsletters, social media posts. The Corporate Communications intern will be empowered to host internal events, as well as ideate and manage employee engagement and industry relations projects, playing an important role in building Forest Interactive\xe2\x80\x99s vibrant culture internally and solidifying the company\xe2\x80\x99s credibility in the tech landscape. :

• Assist in day-to-day tasks in relation to the planning of internal celebrations such as monthly National Day celebrations, UN International Days & Weeks campaigns, Festive Celebrations, and other internal engagement activities.
• Research and ideate CSR partnerships and projects, as well as assist in performing due diligence of sponsorship proposals. If the intern is up for it, they have the opportunity to lead the project.
• Create promotional banners to accompany internal event blasts.
• Write articles about employee engagement initiatives and work with Media Relations team to update the Newsroom section of the Forest Interactive website.
• Host internal virtual events, should they be up for the challenge.

Job Requirement

• Candidate must possess or is currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor\'s Degree in public relations, mass communication, international relations, event management or equivalent.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills and can express his/herself well \xe2\x80\x93 written and spoken.
• Possesses a knack for research and is willing to think outside of the box to consider multiple perspectives.
• Passionate about event planning and CSR.
• Good eye for design.
• Experience being in planning committees of events or in a leading role in a school/college club/association is a plus.
• Duration of 3 months or 6 months.
• Provide us 2 writing samples (can be academic or creative writing)
• CGPA: 3.0 and above
• March 2023 and onwards intake
