The Digital Communications Intern will play a key role in supporting our creative planning and production for events and marketing programs. The role will also support the team by providing assistance with events collaterals and planning, merchandise production and design, events videography & photography, event execution and post-event branding efforts. The Digital Communications Intern reports to the Digital Communications Executive. This is an outstanding opportunity for an individual interested in learning more about the creative production processes involved in event & program planning. The internship offers exciting hands-on experience and the opportunity to gain new skills. The Digital Communications Intern should have a love for creative event planning & management, provide outstanding effort in learning and gaining experience, be an enthusiastic professional, and be able to come out with creative materials for internal and external events. :
Supports team in daily tasks, such as copywriting, shooting, video editing, poster design & website maintenance.
Manage social media accounts such as Facebook & Instagram.
Plan, create and post content for FIF\xe2\x80\x99s branding.
Assist in developing conceptual campaign ideas & promotional marketing strategies for FIF\xe2\x80\x99s programs and events.
Assist in day-to-day tasks in relation to the creative event & program planning.
Assist with merchandise design & production.
Assist with short video production (basic shooting and editing).
Assist with event and program marketing campaigns including social media content planning.
Participate in planning committee meetings.
Prepare event & program creative collaterals including buntings, backdrops, printing materials, merchandise, digital materials and others prior to the event.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements and Qualifications:
Candidate must possess or currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor\'s Degree in Creative Media, Marketing, Advertising, Mass Communication, Media, Arts & Design, Graphics or equivalent.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English;
Proficiency of using creative software to design posters, video editing. (e.g: Canva/AI/Photoshop/Premiere Pro/AE/ FCPX/Davinci)
Knowledge & experience of using UI/UX designing software is a bonus. (e.g: Webflow/Figma)
Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize in a changing environment and still meet deadlines
Dynamic self-starter who takes initiative, highly reliable.
Strong communicator.
Able to travel when required (for events & programs).
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Minimum internship duration is 3 months.
CGPA: 2.5 and above.
