The Role:

Are you a dedicated and passionate individual seeking to kickstart your career in Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS)? We're looking for a motivated EHS intern to join our team at Stenta. As an EHS intern, you'll play a crucial role in assisting our EHS Engineer with both routine and non-routine activities while gaining invaluable hands-on experience in the field. This internship is designed to help you meet the requirements of your course while contributing to the success of our EHS programs.

Responsibilities:

As our EHS intern, you will:

Assist with day-to-day EHS related tasks. Aid in the implementation of environmental health and safety (H&S) programs on site. Ensure accurate and timely submission of internal performance metric reports. Contribute to coordinating and executing EHS Assessment programs, including Job Safety Analysis. Help implement the Industrial Hygiene program, which includes tasks such as SDS management, labeling, signage, and chemical inventory. Assist in the implementation of the Site Emergency Response plan. Participate in routine internal and external EHS inspections and audits. Assist in conducting EHS-related training for employees, visitors, and contractors. Help manage and monitor EHS modules.

Qualifications/Requirements:

To be considered for this internship, you should have:

A degree or diploma in Occupational Safety and Health or a related field. Excellent organizational skills and a keen attention to detail. The ability to prioritize tasks and delegate them when appropriate. Strong communication skills.
