:This job is an internship for Business & Logistics students. You would learn from our senior experts and work in Air Freight Department. You might like this job because it offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various areas of the department and learn from experienced professionals.During this internship, you would be learning from our senior experts. Your daily job scope consists of different area within the department of Air Freight.

• To liaise with contracted local and interstate truckers the required size of trucks to be utilized for the daily pick-up, deliveries, transshipments, and interstate movements. To monitor the timely availability of these trucks at the required locations.
• To communicate the truck details to internal customers as well as to inform them of any changes to these details upon receiving the revised truck details from truckers.
• To ensure all documents related to trucking movements are accounted for, filed or passed over to the respective departments those documents as required on a timely basis as laid down in these SOPs.
• To reply and response on a daily basis all related emails from internal and external customers on any issued pertaining to trucking.
• To report regularly to the immediate superior on the performance of the area of responsibilities.
• To escalate all related issues pertaining to Transport immediately.
• To perform any other duties assigned by Team Leader from time to time
• To ensure costing is correct as per RFQ for all shipment

To be successful in this internship, these are the requirements:

• Diploma and/or Degree in Logistics, Transportation, and/or Business Studies with minor in logistics and supply chain.
• It will be added advantage if you have previous experience dealing with customers.
• Being able to write and speak professionally in English.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
• This internship location is at Iskandar Puteri, Johor.
