Internship for Media Relation MYR 800 + Free Daily Lunch Meals at the office

We also an award-winning telecommunication platform provider with a global presence across 14 regional offices in 35 countries. Since its founding in 2006, Forest Interactive has been providing innovative and revenue-generating solutions for over 90 mobile operators. We experiment with Mobile Applications on SMS, MMS, USSD, WAP and similar platforms. We are looking for individuals with a passion for Media Relation they will support the Corporate PR department\'s media relations strategy and efforts on maximizing the presence of Forest Interactive in print, broadcast, and online media outlets locally and globally. The interns will support the day-to-day operations of the Media Relations team. :

• Write press releases for news announcement from both HQ and regional offices
• Liaise with Country Managers & HODs to get details and quotes for press releases and articles
• Monitor the media after each email pitch
• Update the Newsroom section of the Forest Interactive website with press releases and articles
• Research and curate content for weekly digest, a news round-up sent to employees every Thursday
• Coordinate with Creative & Multimedia department for creative assets i.e. promotional banner, announcement banner, etc to be included in the press kit
• Research, build, and update media lists and databases

Job Requirement

• Candidate must possess or currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor\'s Degree in Public Relations, Mass communication, English, Journalism or equivalent.
• Strong with research & writing skills
• Natural communicator and can express his/herself well verbally
• Interviewing skills are a plus
• Proficiency in WordPress is a plus
• Good eye for design
• Able to multitask and work well collectively in a fast-paced environment
• Duration of 3 months or 6 months.
• CGPA: 2.5 and above
