Internship Maintenance Department
Job Description
Assist in routine inspections and maintenance of hotel facilities including guest rooms, public areas, kitchen, laundry, and back-of-house areas
Support in basic repair tasks such as plumbing, electrical, air-conditioning, carpentry, and painting
Respond promptly to maintenance requests and work orders under supervision
Help monitor and log preventive maintenance schedules and records
Ensure all tools and equipment are used and maintained properly
Follow all safety guidelines, policies, and procedures
Maintain cleanliness and organization in maintenance workshop and storage areas
Assist in energy-saving and sustainability practices where applicable
Report any hazards, unsafe conditions, or major equipment issues to supervisors
Learn and follow hotel standards for guest privacy and professionalism
