Internship Opportunity - Maintenance Support

Are you a detail-oriented and proactive individual seeking real-world experience in Maintenance? TPG Oil & Gas Sdn. Bhd. is offering a 6-month internship for final-year students interested in exploring the administrative & finance side of the oil & gas industry.

to join our Maintenance Team!

Requirements:

Final year student pursuing a

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree

in Mechanical, Electrical, or Maintenance Engineering.*
Willing to relocate to

Tg Langsat, Pasir Gudang

Basic understanding of maintenance tools and procedures. Willingness to learn and work in a hands-on environment. Good communication and teamwork skills. Physically fit and safety-conscious.

What You'll Learn:

Assist in preventive maintenance routines for machinery, HVAC systems, electrical panels, and plumbing fixtures to minimize downtime. Support corrective maintenance tasks, including diagnosing faults, replacing worn components, and restoring equipment functionality. Participate in daily inspections of facilities and equipment to identify potential issues and ensure operational safety. Shadow senior technicians and engineers during complex repair or installation work to gain hands-on experience. Coordinate with vendors and contractors for outsourced maintenance services and follow up on job completion. Monitor and manage spare parts inventory, ensuring availability of critical components and assisting in stock replenishment. Contribute to facility upkeep, including lighting, air conditioning, and minor building repairs. Ensure compliance with safety protocols, including proper use of PPE and adherence to lockout/tagout procedures. Assist in preparing maintenance reports, summarizing completed tasks, pending issues, and recommendations for improvement. Participate in energy-saving initiatives or equipment upgrades under supervision. Support emergency maintenance efforts, such as responding to breakdowns or urgent repair needs during working hours.
