Job Description

Job Responsibilities:



Assist in

sourcing materials, ingredients, and packaging

from approved suppliers. Support the purchasing team in

issuing Purchase Orders (POs)

and following up with suppliers for order confirmation and delivery schedules. Help maintain and update

supplier database, price lists, and inventory records

. Prepare and organize

purchasing documents

such as quotations, invoices, and delivery orders. Assist in

comparing prices and evaluating supplier quotations

to ensure cost-effectiveness. Support coordination with the

store and production departments

to ensure timely supply of materials. Participate in

supplier performance evaluation

and assist in collecting relevant data. Help in

administrative tasks

including filing, document scanning, and data entry into ERP or Excel systems. Learn about

purchasing procedures, inventory control, and supply chain management

in a manufacturing environment.

Requirements:



Diploma or Bachelor's degree in

Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field

. Good communication and organizational skills. Proficient in

Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

. Detail-oriented, responsible, and willing to learn. Able to work independently and in a team environment.

Learning Outcomes:



Gain exposure to

purchasing and procurement processes

in a food manufacturing company. Develop skills in

supplier management, cost analysis, and documentation control

. Understand the coordination between

purchasing, production, and store departments

.
Job Type: Internship
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: RM600.00 - RM800.00 per month
