Job Description

We are looking for a motivated Technical Assistant Intern to join our team in the Fleet Control System industry. This internship offers hands-on experience in GPS tracking, vehicle telematics, and fleet management technologies. The ideal candidate will assist our technical team in system installations, troubleshooting, and maintenance while gaining valuable industry knowledge

Responsibilities:

? Assist in the configuration and maintenance of GPS tracking systems
? Support troubleshooting and resolving issues related to hardware and software
? Perform diagnostic tests and quality control (QC) checks on vehicle tracking devices and sensors before deployment.
? Inspect returned devices to identify issues and assist in basic troubleshooting.
? Assist in maintaining technical documentation, reports, and inventory records
? Help analyze fleet data to optimize vehicle tracking efficiency
? Ensure compliance with company safety and quality standards
? Provide technical support to clients and team members when needed
? Collaborate with the operations and customer support teams to ensure smooth
system implementation

Job Requirements

? Currently pursuing or recently completed a diploma/degree in Engineering, IT,
Automotive Technology, or a related technical field
? Basic knowledge of GPS systems, vehicle wiring, and telematics (preferred)
? Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
? Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced environment
? Good communication and teamwork skills
? Ability to follow instructions and complete assigned tasks efficiently
? Possession of a valid driver's license (preferred but not mandatory)

Location: Safe Truck Sdn Bhd - Mak Mandin Office
Duration: 3 - 6 months
Working Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30AM - 6:00PM, Alternate Saturday 8:30AM - 13:00PM

Job Type: Internship
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: RM600.00 - RM800.00 per month
