We are seeking a motivated and tech-savvy

NOC Intern

to join our Network Operation Center (NOC) team. This internship provides hands-on experience in monitoring and supporting network infrastructure, troubleshooting IT-related issues, and ensuring the seamless operation of a contact center's technology environment. The intern will work closely with the IT and network teams to maintain optimal network performance and uptime.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor network performance, servers, and telephony systems to ensure smooth operations. Assist in troubleshooting and resolving network, system, and connectivity issues. Support incident management by identifying, documenting, and escalating issues as required. Perform basic network diagnostics and maintenance tasks. Collaborate with IT team to support hardware, software, and telephony system configurations. Document system performance, issues, and troubleshooting steps for future reference. Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for network monitoring and issue resolution. Participate in IT projects related to network upgrades and system improvements. Learn and assist in implementing security protocols to protect network integrity.

Requirements:

Knowledge in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience). Basic knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, routers, switches, firewalls, VPN, VoIP). Familiar with PHY, MySQL and Bootstrap. Understanding of Windows/Linux operating systems. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Good communication and teamwork skills. Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies. Flexibility to work in shift-based schedules if required.

Pay: RM500.00 - RM800.00 per month
